A useful little tool. A surprisingly simple process.
Enter the recipient number with its country code.
Write an optional draft message.
Test on your audience’s phones; SMS link handling varies across operating systems.
An SMS QR code encodes a recipient and optional draft message using an sms link. Supported devices open their messaging app. The message is never sent by this site, and normal carrier charges may apply when the user sends it.
Use a phone camera and tap the messaging prompt. Check the recipient and message before sending. Desktop scanners may not have an SMS handler.
Keep a clear border around the code, use strong contrast, and test the final file on more than one phone. A beautiful code is only useful if it scans. Read the QR code design guide for logo and color choices, or check QR print sizes and file formats before ordering a print run.
