A QR code is a machine-readable pattern that can hold a link or a small amount of information. It brings a printed object and a digital action closer together: a menu on a table, a contact on a business card, or a Wi-Fi connection for a guest.
Standard QR downloads store their content or fixed destination in the image, without an account or subscription. You keep the files, and the QR pattern has no built-in expiration. Linked websites and App Link chooser pages still need to stay available. If you need to change a destination after printing, the optional editable QR link manager stores it online and provides aggregate visit counts.
Keep a clear border around the code, use strong contrast, and test the final file on more than one phone. A beautiful code is only useful if it scans. Read the QR code design guide for logo and color choices, or check QR print sizes and file formats before ordering a print run.
